Domain III: Promoting Professional Learning for Continuous Improvement

As a teacher leader you understand the evolving nature of teaching and learning, established and emerging technologies, and the school community. The teacher leader uses this knowledge to promote, design, and facilitate job-embedded professional

learning aligned with school improvement goals.

​

Many Teachers including myself often complain about PD, Professional Learning because they do not feel it is tailored to their needs and countless other reasons. This Domain allowed me to hit the reset button in how I see Professional Learned and to reclaim ownership of my intellectual growth as a Teacher. I provide more specific feedback on Professional Development, seek opportunities to Led Professional Development, and advocate for PD sessions that meet both my needs and align with school improvement  schools.
